HONEY DO LIST

Husbands Nursery Project...

The beginning...

Step1#: Draw Tree... He is drawing this free hand. I love how artistic my Alpha Male Husband is... He sure is amazing.

Assessing the situation with his little helper Sammie...

Sammie likes to be involved in household chores...

Adding the Blue (Nursery Blanket Blue) around the tree that he just has drawn on the wall...

Can you tell it is a tree yet?

Husband: HONEY where is my hat!

Day #2

Painting in the fine print... This was the hard part. He wasn't too happy with this part.

Cutting into the edges... FREE HAND

THE TREE!!!! ?Can you tell? It looks so whimsical... I just love it. Rich isn't too sure about it himself, he is such the perfectionist and he isn't liking the imperfections in the lines.

Here comes the leaves! These he didn't draw first just started painting. Wow, you should have seen the tree I tried to draw at work... It looked like a triangle. UGLY! haha! Thank goodness we have some talent in this family.

All the leaves are added now!

Oh!!! That isn't good enough... Time to get more artistic and start making color layers for the 3D effect.

While he is doing what he does best up in the nursery, I on the other hand had to go to the laundry mat to wash our bedding... When I returned to the house I walked upstairs and saw a totally new tree...
I have always wanted the man of my dreams carve my initials in a tree... This has been a child hood dream of mine. As walked up the stairs, I see that my beloved husband has fulfilled that dream of mine... in the most magical way that I could ever imagined. He carved our initials with love in our new little bundle of joy's nursery room tree... This tree will forever be painted on this wall... Even when it is turned back into the office after the baby gets his new big boy room. I am so blessed...

The tree is finished... Or so I thought.

I had said we should add leaves blowing in the wind across the other wall... He just laughed at me when I walked upstairs later this is what I saw... The start to leaves blowing in the wind...

Once again getting the 3D effect...

He didn't like the blue tree limbs on the brown wall so he had to fix them and here is what we think for now is the finished painting project... of course that deer head on the wall will be getting taken DOWN... :)

Crib added to the corner... Some other furnature is still to come... They will be getting done later this week in another blog posting... A mommy to do list... Till next time... Keep those Honey Do's going...

My Honeymoon In Cozumel

First arriving at the Iberostar in Cozumel Mx. This was our home for the next eight days. All inclusive, what a wonderful sound... The pool was great, the food was great, and the room was great! The bed was hard as a rock! haha!!! Don't forget your bug spray too! when the sun goes down the bugs wake up.

Out on the dock with our first drinks. Wow it was so warm and the water so BLUE!

One evening there was a wedding on the beach at our resort. It was so simple and so pretty. They partied all night long at the resorts disco! It was a night full of dancing and drinking...

Laying on the beach at the resort after a game of Beach Volleyball. I think that was the hardest thing I have ever done.

Some friends we met...

Sunset snorkel. We saw all kinds of fish and turtles.

One of our tours was to Chichen Itza and this was a Cenote we got to swim in on the way. We also got to eat in a Mayan Village and dine on their food... It was so goooooood...

This was so amazing... One of the seven world wonders.

Another Tour we went on was to Tulum and Xel-Ha. This is Xel-Ha where we got to snorkel and see alot of different sites, it is a natural water park.

Tulum the great Mayan Fortress...

It was the most beautiful place we have ever seen.

On Cozumel there are Mayan Ruins of Fertility and we were able to go see and learn about it. Here we are kissing on the alter they were married and blessed on. How cool. Ledgen says that we will have a boy then a girl. We will see in about 3 weeks.

This was on a Jeep Tour on Cozumel as well as the top picture. Here is where we ate the best food we had the entire time we were there. WOW! It was good !

We had to take a dip after lunch... WARM WATER...

In the Jeep after our swim on the way to the light house.

On top of the light house.

Here is our formal night out to dinner at the resort.

Picture outside our room.

Here is our last farewell... So sad...

Thursday, May 6, 2010

I was just looking at my neglected blog and realized I have never told you about my honeymoon in Cozumel, MX. This was the first my husband and I have both ever left the country.

It was in November, 2 months after our wonderful wedding. Now after that last sentance I also realize that I never posted any of my wedding photos but 1... I haven't been a very good blogger i guess in the past a bit half assed I would have to say. Well I will give you a bit of the wedding first... then the Honeymoon. Okay so here it goes! Ready!

The night before the wedding we were doing last min projects... Like the signs for the roads. This i realized after I had spray painted black chalk paint and let it dry, and wrote in chalk that I wrote the names totally the wrong way on the signs... Wow this was super late too. I am such a dork.

Hair and make up the morning of... Chai please, or I am going to die! I really loved this part... Pamper me :) Just me and my girls getting ready... oh and I had my little brother too that was giving me away on this most wonderful day of my life... The day every girl looks forward too each day of her life...

My best friend getting ready in the tent doing the flower girls hair... Her little eyes were watering and she wasn't very happy. ha! My two girls beside her getting everything all set for me. Just before we started to walk down to see my husband and all of my friends and family, I suddenly had to pee! Of course now... So my maid of honor found a cup Marisa held my dress and I relieved myself... Wow what memories. Then they had to take the cup and toss it out. Hilarious. Don't drink from the big white cup... it has bridal water in it...

The Dress!

My little brother Alex walked me down the isle... He is such a great kid and looked so handsome. He loved his outfit and didn't take it off all night not even his tie. He even got out and danced with me at the end of the night to the band.

Ready to run! He gave me a piggy back ride from the stand and then I jumped down and we ran away! What a great day.

Cutting the Cake! We couldn't find the cake knives for anything it was so funny... I was so flustered I said I need a fork now too... Well we all know that the husband and wife feed eachother with their hands... enough said there...

...and the party continues... the band started playing around 9:00 and didn't stop till after 2:00am... ahhhh what a night. I think I even got up on stage and sang songs... Best day of my life!
